Jan 2011 is our 1st Cancer Care Conference & Resource Fair. We are reaching out to our partners and inviting them to collaborate in this ground breaking event.
One of our sponsors Cancer Treatment Centers of America presents "Food for Thought,” a FREE educational/community outreach program for cancer patients, caregivers, friends and family. The purpose of this event is to provide awareness about nutrition in cancer prevention and during treatment, as well as information on how to be an empowered patient. Presentation by CTCA Director of Nutrition, Sharon Day and Medical Oncologist, Dr. Richard Schildt, as well as a question and answer period. Cancer support non-profits will also provide free information at this event. A light dinner will be provided.
